Just pretending?
You brought pretending into this family..
You showed us we can change things by simply believing them to be different...
A lot of things, not everything, but the things that matter.
We've pretended for some time now that you're a part of this family, haven't we?
You've come to mean so much to us all that now, It doesn't matter if it's true.
And even if it isn't true, Even if that can never be...
I need to go on pretending

Finding never land, one of my favorite movies!
I think when we are judging,preceiving,depicting,behaving, talking to ourselves... we are always pretending ... acting in a particular way that others or we programme ourselves to. For example if i ever wanna cry out aloud i would never do that infront of people and pretend to show some other emotion.
Every emotion that brain generates, creates a different sequence of breathing, i.e emotions control our breathing, if you breathe corresponding to a particular emotion, you end up feeling that way; i.e you can change your emotions through breathing too :)... pretending in a way !
this is what we do all the time, if we want something to be a part of our system or routine we start by 'pretending' as if it were so and it becomes a habit .

I too, simply love the theme of the movie.. finding the land that never is. Like euphoria. If only we could grasp the ideal into the palm of our hands and never let it go.. but we cant. Just like we cant stop time, cant cage the winds... & cant fight the demons of fate... and so we start pretending.. pretending to believe that somethings are true, and somethings arnt... and most of the times, we do our best to rescue ourselves from the misery of pretence, and most of time, we fail. Coz they can only find neverland in movies. Not in Elixir :p

I Love Him

I’ve met a man and fallen in love with him. I allowed myself to fall in love for one simple reason: I’m not expecting anything to come of it. I know that, in three months’ time, I’ll be far away and he’ll be just a memory, but I couldn’t stand living without love any longer; I had reached my limit.
